Meddie Kagere and Ngwabije Clovis return to Amavubi squad for june friendlies

After a period of absence from the national team, veteran striker Meddie Kagere and defender Ngwabije Bryan Clovis have been recalled to the Rwanda national football team, Amavubi, ahead of two international friendlies set for June 2025.
On May 28, 2025, the head coach of Amavubi, Adel Amrouche, announced a 27-man squad that will take part in friendly matches against Algeria as part of the team’s preparations for upcoming competitions.
The squad includes new faces such as Ally Enzo Hamon, who plays for Angoulême CFC in France’s third division, Nkulikiyimana Darryl Nganji of FCV Dender EH, and Kayibanda Claude Smith from Luton Town in England.
Some players who had been called up previously but never got game time may now get their chance to debut. These include Kavita Phanuel of Birmingham Legion and Uwimana Noe Iman, who plays for Virginia Tech Soccer in the USA.
Also returning to the squad are Biramahire Abeddy from Rayon Sports, Gitego Arthur of Clube Ferroviário da Beira in Mozambique, and Manishimwe Djabel.
